The Outsider

Michael Flaherty (Craig Wasson), an American of Irish descent who served in Vietnam, goes back to Belfast to help his grandfather, Seamus (Sterling Hayden). Soon, he realizes that he is not as welcome in his home country as he thought he would be. Even worse, he is the target of an IRA plan to kill him in order to make the British forces look bad and get money from wealthy Americans.
