The Stranger

If we're gone, what exactly do people remember people? Neal MacGregor, an English artist, died prematurely, aged 44, in a stone hen house that he couldn't operate in, where he lived on a remote island without electricity, water or heating. The Gaelic-speaking islanders on the island knew little of Neal. Who was this specific Stranger? Can he be a British spy documenting IRA routes, as some islanders thought? Was he attempting to take control of the staircase? As many others thought was he crazy? Or was he just seeking solitude?
