The night was quiet, save to the noise of those bottles clinking together and the pounding of the firearms in the length, that have to be why the man met no one, why what's as still as a painting, such as the boy sees from this window at the beginning, a village plucked from a mythic. Considering the lengthy tracking shots, it would be tempting to call this lifetime, but the light's quality is, all saturated yellows, reds and greens. Even the landscape is lit like a stage set.
