Violent Is the Word for Curly

The Three Stooges are placed in charge of a gas station, where they promptly blow up the vehicle containing three well-known European academics who are their first clients. After stealing some of the academics' clothing, the three stooges find themselves in "Mildew," a women's college where the three professors are due to appear. Because they are taken for the genuine article, the boys are given positions on the teaching staff. When the actual academics arrive, the stooges try to persuade the school's sponsor, a wealthy woman, that the athletics program is more vital than the academic one. The real instructors surprise the students with a nitroglycerin basketball, which causes the athletics display to conclude in a spectacular explosion.
