When We Were Kings
1974. Muhammad Ali is 32 years old and many believe he is passed his peak. George Foreman is ten years younger and currently holds the world heavyweight title. Promoter Don King is looking to establish a reputation for himself and offers both combatants five million dollars each to fight, with King only having to come up with the money if they accept. He finds a willing accomplice in Zaire's ruler Mobutu Sese Suko, and the "Rumble in the Jungle" is launched, complete with a musical festival featuring some of America's finest black performers, including James Brown and B.B.
