Whisky Galore!

Based on a true story. The name of the actual boat, that spanned Feb 5 1941 - during WWII - had been S/S Politician. Having made Liverpool two days earlier, heading for Jamaica, it sank outside Eriskay containing 250,000 bottles of whisky. The natives gathered as many bottles as they could, until the proper authorities arrived, every other year, and today, bottles have been found from the sand or even at the ocean.
