A Woman Called Moses
A Woman Called Moses is a television miniseries based on the story of Harriet Tubman, an escaped African American slave who helped build the Underground Railroad and took scores of African Americans from slavery in the South to freedom in the North and Canada. The production, narrated by Orson Welles, aired on the NBC television network on December 11 and 12, 1978. Cicely Tyson, an Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee, played Tubman.
