Agony
Agony is a British sitcom which aired from 1979 to 1981 on ITV. It starred Maureen Lipman as a agony-aunt that was thriving but whose life and marriage would be a disaster. It had been composed Stan Hey, Anna Raeburn, by Len Richmond and Andrew Nickolds. LWT created for the ITV network it.
Even though a humor, Agony some times handled conditions which were viewed as taboo at that time such as drug use, racism, abortion, interracial relationships, and swinging, and was the very first British sit com to depict a homosexual couple as non-camp, witty, intelligent and happy folks. It also mocked the government, the ruling classes, and religion, also contained dark and dramatic storylines.
