Aladdin
Aladdin is an animated television show made by Walt Disney Television which aired from 1994 to 1995, based on the 1992 feature. It was animated at the Offbeat Productions Studios. Coming on the heels of this direct-to-video movie The Return of Jafar, the show found where that installation left off, with Aladdin now living in the palace, also participated to Princess Jasmine. "Al" and Jasmine went together into peril among sorcererscreatures, creatures, thieves, and much more. Monkey sidekick Abu, the animated Magic Carpet, and also the fast-talking, shape shifting Genie came to help, as failed Gee, complaining parrot Iago, once Jafar's pet however currently an antihero. Jafar, having been destroyed at the movie, returns in only one episode which acts as a crossover with Hercules: The Animated Series.
A number of the films' stars supplied the listeners of these television counterparts, with the exclusion of Dan Castellaneta filling out for Robin Williams from the Genie role. Unlike the small Mermaid spin off show, this show doesn't include any music amounts.
The show originally aired simultaneously on the The Disney Afternoon block and also on Saturday mornings. Disney Channel re ran the series before their own preteen lineup substituted it. The show was shown on Toon Disney, but has since been removed.
