Arms Alchemy

Buso Renkin is a manga series written and illustrated by Nobuhiro Watsuki, the creator of Rurouni Kenshin, with literary aid from his wife Kaoru Kurosaki on occasion. Buso Renkin was serialized in Shueisha's shnen magazine Weekly Shnen Jump from June 2003 to 2005, with a total of 80 chapters published. Shueisha compiled the separate chapters into 10 tankbon volumes, which were published between January 5, 2004 and April 4, 2006. Viz Media has licensed the series for distribution in North America. Xebec adapted the manga into an anime television series, which aired for 26 episodes in Japan. The series premiered on the Funimation Channel in North America on April 27, 2009. The series is also the subject of two drama CDs, two light novels, and a PlayStation 2 video game.
