BattleBots

BattleBots is. BattleBots is also the name of this tv show created from the competition footage. BattleBots Inc. is headquartered in Vallejo, California and holds most of its competitions from the San Francisco area. At a BattleBots event the competitors are machines and remote-controlled armed, made to fight in an arena combat elimination championship. If both combat robots are operational at the finish of the match the winner is based on a point system based on aggression, damage, and strategy. The tv show BattleBots aired for five seasons on the cable network Comedy Central, covering five BattleBots matches. The first season aired starting in August 2000, and the fifth season aired starting in August 2002. Hosts of BattleBots have been Sean Salisbury and Bil Dwyer and correspondents contained Baywatch actresses Donna D'Errico, Carmen Electra, along with Traci Bingham, former Playboy Playmate Heidi Mark, as well as identical twins Randy and Jason Sklar. Bill Nye has been the show's"technical expert". After five'seasons', Comedy Central declared their contract using BattleBots Inc. in late 2002.
