Birds of a Feather
Birds of a Feather is a sitcom Which Has Been broadcast on BBC One from 1989 and Around ITV in 2013. Starring Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph, it was created by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, who wrote a number of the episodes along side several different authors.
The first episode sees Sharon Theodopolopodos and sisters Tracey Stubbs attracted together after their husbands are sent to prison for armed robbery. Sharon, who dwelt in an Edmonton council apartment, moves into Tracey house in Chigwell, Essex. Later friend, and their nextdoor neighbour is really a middle aged woman who is constantly having affairs with younger men. Into Hainault the place has been shifted At the show that was later. The show ended after having a 9-year-run on Christmas Eve 1998.
About the Mirror reported that the timeless sitcom was put for a yield coverage which Lesley Joseph, Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson have been asked by the team supporting the sit com to make some other series. Quirke was reported saying that these were up for the struggle if the authors came up with ideas that were good. After this speculation of a recurrence in 2009 nothing was said. However, in July 2012 Lesley Joseph suggested that Birds of a Feather could return for yet another series after a platform excursion.
