Call of the Wildman

Call of the Wildman is. The series' 3rd season is currently airing. The series follows the exploits of Kentucky woodsman Ernie Brown, Jr., nick named"The Turtleman". Aided Neal James by his friend, along with his dog a nuisance animal removal firm is operated by Brown, releasing them and catching the animals. The series is filmed near the Lebanon, Kentucky, home of Brown. Brown began catching snapping turtles from ponds near his home at age 7. He came to the interest of Animal Planet producers after an episode of Kentucky Educational Television's Kentucky Afield series that featured his bare handed turtle-catching methods was posted on YouTube and proceeded viral. After doing some filming and personally visiting with Brown, network executives chose to produce a season of their series with all the name The Turtleman of Wild Kentucky. The name was soon changed to Telephone a mention of the distinctive shout of Brown that punctuates his actions, of the Wildman. The series has been the most watched program from the fourth quarter of 2011 of Animal Planet and was renewed for a 2nd, 16-episode series that started broadcasting in June 2012. Animal World has re-released the series with trivia information called Phone of their Wildman: Longer LiveAction along with bonus features.
