Captain Planet and the Planeteers

Captain Planet and the Planeteers is an American animated environmentalist Tv program created by Ted Turner, Robert Larkin III, and Barbara Pyle, produced by Pyle, Nicholas Boxer, Andy Heyward and Robby London, Also Produced by Pyle, Boxer, Heyward, London, Thom Beers, Bob Forward, Phil Harnage along with Cassandra Schafhausen. Turner Program Services and DIC Entertainment produced the show plus it was broadcast on TBS from September 1-5, 1990. Hanna-Barbera and Turner Program Services , produced A sequel show, The New Adventures of Captain Planet, also was broadcast from September 11, 1993 to May 11, 1996. Both show continue in syndication. The program is a sort of edutainment and urges environmentalism. Back in February 2009, nature Network unreleased footage of Captain Planet and the Planeteers on its website and began airing episodes. The Planeteer Movement was launched with the support of both Pyle to connect and carry on to incorporate the show's messages as real life Planeteers.
