Casualty
Casualty can be a medical drama television series which airs weekly on BBC One, and also also the longest-running emergency medical drama television series on the planet. It transmitted in the United Kingdom on BBC One, and was broadcast on 6 September 1986. The producer was Geraint Morris.
The plan is based around the Holby City Hospital and concentrates on patients and the staff of the Accident and Emergency Department of the hospital. The show has hardly any ties to its sister programme Holby City which began as a spin away in 1999 from Casualty and can be place in the same hospital, however up stairs. Each show can be followed closely without having to see the other, however this is rare, although the show's plots and characters sporadically crossover between the two programs. Casualty is shown on a Saturday evening, which was its timeslot since the early 1990s.
