Count Duckula

Count Duckula is a British children's drama, horror, comedy, animated tv show created by British studio Cosgrove Hall and a spin off a show where the Count Duckula character was a recurring villain, by DangerMouse. The show aired on 6 September 1988 and has been produced by Central Television for the fourth and last show along with Thames Television for three string. In all, 65 episodes were made, each approximately 22 minutes long. While the first show has been published in North America, all 65 episodes have been released to DVD in the UK. Both its characters and the show continue to have a sizable following on the internet. The show is actually just a loose parody of this story of Count Dracula. Place in Transylvania, Duckula lives in a spooky castle called Castle Duckula along side his butler Igor along with his large nanny. All of the characters in the show are anthropomorphised birds.
