Dharma & Greg
Dharma & Greg is a long-running sitcom that originally debuted on American television on September 24, 1997, and ran until April 30, 2002. Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson play the roles of Dharma and Greg Montgomery, a couple who got married on their very first date despite the fact that they couldn't be more different from one another. The series is a collaboration of Chuck Lorre Productions, More-Medavoy Productions, and 4 to 6 Foot Productions, and it is produced for ABC by 20th Century Fox Television in partnership with Chuck Lorre Productions and More-Medavoy Productions. Composer Dennis C. Brown is responsible for the tune that serves as the show's theme song. Brown also performs the song. The comedic concept was conceived by by executive producers Dottie Dartland and Chuck Lorre, who drew much of their inspiration from "fish out of water" scenarios that involve a collision of cultures. This television program was nominated for eight Golden Globes, six Emmy Awards, and six Satellite Awards. In 1999, the Golden Globe awards were given out, and Elfman won the award for Best Actress.
