Doug
Doug is an American sitcom co-produced by his studio, Jumbo images and created by Jim Jinkins. The show's plot line centers around the surreal and imaginative exploits of its title character, Douglas"Doug" Funnie, who experiences shared predicaments while attending faculty at his hometown of Bluffington, Virginia. The show lampoons topics, for example puppylove, bullying, and even rumors. Episodes centre around Doug's attempts todate his class mate Patti Mayonnaise.
Doug originally aired on Nickelodeon. It, combined with Rugrats and The Ren & Stimpy Show, comprised the first three Nicktoons, premiering simultaneously on August 1 1, 1991 and ending on January 2, 1994. Following acquisition of the Jumbo Images from Disney in 1996, the show aired as part of the Disney's One Saturday Morning programming block on ABC. The next show was released on September 7, 1996, and ended on June 26, 1999 while having a feature film adaption. In 2011, the Nickelodeon show became syndicated on TeenNick's then debuted The'90s Are That obstruct.
