George

George was a Swiss-Canadian television show which aired on CTV on Thursday evenings. The show was based on the 1971 film George! , about the adventures of a St. Bernard dog and his owner who are living in Switzerland. Marshall Thompson starred in the film and the resulting collection. The show made its CTV debut in a Thursday night slot on 16 September 1972. George ended in 1973. The Globe and Mail's Blaik Kirby believed the app to become"abysmal". Despite its short term and mixed critical reaction, Saturday morning programs, the show was rerun on CTV Partners for a long time afterwards , usually to fulfill.
