Gintama

The Amanto, aliens in outerspace, have invaded Earth and taken within feudal Japan. A prohibition on knives was established, and Japan's samurai are treated with disregard. However Gintoki Sakata, one person possesses the center of the samurai, even though from his love of sweets and act as a yorozuya, one might not expect it. Accompanying him are Shinpachi Shimura, seemingly bottomless stomach, Kagura with her umbrella and a boy with a solid spirit and glasses, in addition to their pet dog, Sadaharu. Needless to say, these jobs are not always simple, since they often times have run ins with rag tag rebels, the authorities, and assassins resulting in consequences that are funny but regrettable.
