Hawkeye
Stephen J. Cannell is the creator and producer of the television series Hawkeye, which ran for a single season in syndication during the years 1994-1995. The scenes for the series were shot in North Vancouver and Vancouver, both of which are located in the province of British Columbia in Canada. The events of the series are based on characters from James Fenimore Cooper's Leatherstocking Tales, a collection of novels that were written during the French and Indian War and took place in the Hudson Valley of New York in the year 1755. The story focuses on the main character, Natty Bumppo, as well as his Native American companion Chingachgook, trading post owner Elizabeth Shields, and various other characters who are stationed at or residing in the area around Fort Bennington.
