Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth

Set through the Silla dynasty, Sam Maekjong may be the boy of the fallen king and present queen regent, Jiso, however he was retained in hiding for security since he had been a boywhen his father was murdered. Over the years the nobles failed and have tried to usurp power from Jiso, causing her to cultivate after even reluctant to hand over the throne and wary. Since her son comes naturally, she creates the Hwarang, an elite group of male youth who train in education and fighting. The current power factions are cut round by their presence and Sam Maekjong is endangering their ranks under the name Kim Ji-Dwi that is false, unbeknownst to other Hwarang members.
