I Spy
I is a American television secret-agent adventure series. It ran for three seasons on NBC and teamed Robert Culp as international tennis player Kelly Robinson together with Bill Cosby Alexander Scott, because his trainer. The characters' travels as ostensible"tennis bums", Robinson playing with talented tennis as a recreational with all the wealthy in return for food and lodging, and Scott tagging together, provided that the cover story hiding their functions as top agents for the Pentagon. Their labour usually kept them busy chasing spies villains, and women.
The powers behind the series were cinematographer Fouad explained and also Morton Fine and authors David Friedkin. Where the series had been produced, they formed three F Productions. Fine and also wrote the scripts, and Friedkin were both co-producers and head authors. Friedkin also dabbled in acting and also appeared in two episodes in the early season.
Actor-producer Sheldon Leonard, famous for playing gangster roles from '50s and the 1940s, was the producer. He also played with a gangster-villain part in two episodes and appeared in a series as himself in a funny cameo. In addition, he led an incident and served as occasional manager all through the collection.
