Jack Taylor
Jack Taylor can be an Irish television drama founded on a succession of novels by Ken Bruen. Place in Galway, the show stars Iain Glen in the eponymous role of Jack Taylor, a former officer with the Garda Síochána who becomes a"finder" after departing the service. Taylor is just a man who belongs looking for clues. He also knows his hometown's streets .
The show aired with subtitles on Canvas in Belgium, and then was initially broadcast on TV3 in Ireland on 2 August 2010. February 2013, it received its UK introduction on Channel 5 on 21. The show has been made available on DVD. It has received mixed reviews from critics. Bernice Harrison of this Irish Times felt the show was loathed. However, David Stephenson of the Daily Express said the strong starting arrangement of the first episode had hooked him. A investigator interviewed by the Laura Barnett of The Guardian said that he found the show fun, however that it did not always give a true portrayal of his profession.
