Kath & Kim
Kath & Kim is a American form of the exact same name starring Selma Blair along with Molly Shannon's Australian television comedy series. The show premiered on NBC. The Australian version was produced by its original celebrities, Jane Turner and Gina Riley, who also function as executive producers and advisers with this version which is co-produced through Reveille Productions and Universal Media Studios.
Its first episode was launched October 12 and its Australian broadcast was cancelled after the next installment another week. The show was then pushed to a graveyard slot of 11pm Mondays, then pre-empted to this year's Australian Open after the first-run airing of episode 9,"Friends". Even though show gained reviews from critics and evaluations, NBC picked Kath & Kim for the complete season order of 22 episodes up on October 31, 2008. On January 15, 2009, NBC cut the episode order from 22 to 17 episodes. The show's season finale aired on March 12, 2009. On May19, 2009,'' NBC confirmed the string cancellation.
