King Arthur's Disasters
The British cartoon series "King Arthur's Disasters" first aired on ITV1's "CITV," a now-defunct programming block. The series, which Paul Parkes and Will Ashurst co-created, follows King Arthur as he tries to woo the beautiful Princess Guinevere with the help of the wizard Merlin. As a result of the show's success, CITV ordered a second season, which premiered on November 6, 2005. In both cases, Genevieve Dexter served as executive producer and director In Spring2005, King Arthur's Disasters ranked as the most-watched new CITV show. It had a viewership share of more than 20% among children and frequently beat CBBC in its time slot. The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers won the Best Animation BAFTA for children's programming in 2006.
