Men Behaving Badly
Simon Nye conceived and wrote the British comedy series Men Behaving Badly. It follows Gary Strang and his housemates Dermot Povey and Tony Smart. In1992, ITV initially aired the program. In addition to the six series that were produced, a Christmas special and three "last orders" episodes were also produced. The series was shot in and around Ealing, west London, and the closing sequence of the sixth season was filmed at the Cerne Abbas gigantic. Despite this, South London is inferred as the site, and Surrey is frequently mentioned. It was produced by Hartswood Films and co-produced by Thames Television for ITV's first two seasons. In addition, they contributed to the creation of the BBC's third season onward. After being shifted to BBC1's post-watershed slot, Men Behaving Badly became a huge success. It was awarded the best sitcom in BBC history during the BBC Television's 60th anniversary celebrations in 1996. Additionally, it ranked fifteenth in the 2004 BBC2 survey titled Britain's Best Sitcom. In addition, it has received the Comedy Award for outstanding ITV comedy and the first National Television Award for Situation Comedy.
