Of Kings and Prophets

An epic saga of ambition, faith and betrayal as told through the prophet Samuel, the eyes of this battle-weary King Saul and the young shepherd David--on a collision course. 1000 years before Christ, the very first king of the Israelites,'' Saul, struggles to unite the 1-2 Israelite tribes and defend his state against enemy strikes that are barbarous. The prophet Samuel relays a message that he must destroy one of Israel's ancient enemies. However, if Saul defies that particular message, Samuel prophesies that the kingdom of Israel wills tear out of him and pick another in his place. In time, Saul comes to understand that his greatest threat will not originate out of his enemies, but by David, the courthouse.
