Open All Hours
Open All Hours is really a BBC sitcom written by Roy Clarke and starring Ronnie Barker being a shop-keeper and David Jason. It ran for 26 episodes in four string, which originated in 1976, 1981, 1982 and 1985 respectively. The programme developed out of a tv pilot broadcast Seven of One, from Barker's humor anthology collection.
Open All Hours ranked eighth at the 2004 Britain's Best poll.
