Power Play
Powerplay has been a Canadian television drama show, which aired on CTV. The show has been filmed in Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario.
The show starred Michael Riley as Brett Parker, also a former New York City sports agent who became the manager of a National Hockey League franchise, the Hamilton Steelheads.
One of those plots of this show handled Parker romance --hate relationships with the sport, the team and also his superior in McArdle Industriesand corporate Colleen Blessed, played with Kari Matchett.
The throw also contained Gordon Pinsent as Al Waxman, Jonathan Crombie, Jennifer Dale and staff operator Duff McArdle. The show's theme song was a updated version of this Stompin' Tom Connors classic,"The Hockey Song", conducted partially by Connors himselfand then transitioning into the performance of the group Rusty.
The show was temporarily aired about the US system UPN, starting in 1999, but had been pulled after only two episodes. The next episode has the distinction to be the episode of almost any primetime TV series aired with any US network.
