Rescue: Special Ops

In 2009, the Nine Network in Australia broadcast the pilot episode of the television drama series Rescue: Special Ops for the first time. The show is produced by Southern Star Group with the aid of Screen Australia and the New South Wales Government. Filming for the program took place in and around the city of Sydney. This drama series follows a group of seasoned professionals who are paramedics and who have extensive experience working in rescue operations. The first episode aired on the Sunday, August 2, 2009, while the last episode of the first season aired on the Sunday, October 25, 2009. Beginning on June 28, 2010, new episodes of the second season were shown. Beginning on May 30, 2011, audiences saw the third and final season, which comprised a total of 22 episodes. The Nine Network has made it official that the show Rescue Special Ops will not be given a fourth season of production.
