In 2019, Kaito Yashio and Akiho Senomiya are the only Robotics Club members at Central Tanegashima High School in Kyushu, Japan. Kaito is a laid-back gamer wanting to help his childhood friend Akiho. She's an active, positive-thinking girl who wants to finish the club's Gunvarrel replica. Kaito discovers secret reports while recruiting new recruits and assembling the robot that may disclose a vast conspiracy. Unaware of what he's up against, Kaito slowly uncovers clues left by Ko Kimijima.
