Santa Evita

After Eva Perón's passing in 1952, her body is kept in storage for the following three years in anticipation of the construction of a mausoleum, a final resting place that was never really constructed. In 1955, the Argentine military staged a coup d'état and kept Perón's body from the general public out of the fear that his assassination would rally the population against them. But they never foresaw the possibility that by doing so, she might become an even greater threat after she had passed on than she had been in life.
