SeaChange
From 1998 to 2000, ABC aired SeaChange, a popular Australian television series. Starring Sigrid Thornton, David Wenham, William McInnes, John Howard, Tom Long and Kerry Armstrong, it was written and directed by Andrew Knight. Michael Carson was the director. Cast and crew were stationed in the Bellarine Peninsula towns of Barwon Heads and St. Leonards, respectively. It has now been renamed several streets in the St Leonards Sea Change Estate after characters from the series. The exterior of the Williamstown Life Saving Club, which was used as the courthouse in Pearl Bay, was also filmed in Williamstown.
