Survivorman
Survivorman is Globally on Science Channel and Discovery Channel, and a television program, broadcast on the Outdoor Life Network in Canada. The series aired 4 specials and three seasons -- 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2012.
The title means the host of the series, Canadian film maker and survival expert Les Stroud, that used survival skills and wisdom to survive for as much as ten days videotaping his adventures in remote locales at which he attracted with him little or no food, water, or equipment. In accordance with the website of the show, each location pre-planned and was scouted broadly by Stroud and his team that consulted natives and survival specialists of each location. The simple fact that Stroud spent his time alone is a significant focus of the series.
