Takeshi's Castle

Takeshi's Castle was a Japanese game show that aired on the Tokyo Broadcasting System from 1986 and 1990. Takeshi Kitano, a Japanese actor, played a count who owns a castle and makes it hard for players to get to him. The show has become a worldwide cult TV favorite. As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations for TBS, a live "revival" was shown on April 2, 2005.
