That Mitchell and Webb Look
David Mitchell and Robert Webb starred in the sketch comedy show That Mitchell and Webb Look, which was broadcast in the United Kingdom. Ben Gosling Fuller is the director of series three and four of The Mitchell and Webb Situation, which has been broadcast on BBC Two since 2006. The first two series of the show were directed by David Kerr, who also directed Mitchell and Webb's earlier television sketch show The Mitchell and Webb Situation. In addition to Mitchell and Webb, other contributors to the show include writers such as Jesse Armstrong, James Bachman, Sam Bain, Mark Evans, Olivia Colman, Toby Davies, Chris Pell, Jonathan Dryden Taylor, Joel Morris, Jason Hazeley, Simon Kane, and John Finnemore, amongst others. Gareth Edwards is the one in charge of producing it. Alongside Abigail Burdess, Gus Brown, Sarah Hadland, and Paterson Joseph, the cast also included the actors Colman, Bachman, and Evans. The duo's radio show, That Mitchell and Webb Sound, is where many of the show's characters and sketches made their first appearances for the first time. The first episode of the show was broadcast on September 14, 2006, and the second series was ordered in the latter part of the first year and broadcast between February 21 and March 27, 2008. The first episode of the third series aired on June 11, 2009. Since the second season, episodes of the production have also been made available on BBC HD. In 2007, the first series was honored with a BAFTA award. On April 14, 2010, the first episode of the third series was broadcast on BBC America. The debut of the fourth season took place on BBC Two and BBC HD on July 13, 2010, and the BBC commissioned a total of six episodes for the season. Webb indicated in an interview that there are "no plans, unfortunately, for another series of sketches," and continued by saying that "you'd have to approach the BBC" regarding subsequent series. The interview took place in November of 2011.
