The Ben Stiller Show
The Ben Stiller Show aired on MTV from 1990 to 1991 and Fox from September 1992 to January 1993. Ben Stiller, Janeane Garofalo, Andy Dick, and Bob Odenkirk star. Every episode featured John F. O'Donohue. It contained taped comedy bits parodying 1980s and 1990s pop culture. Fox canceled the show after 12 episodes despite great reviews and high viewership. The Ben Stiller Show lacked a studio audience and laugh track. Fox's only sketch comedy show without a laugh track. The Andy Dick Show's format was similar. The series received the 1993 Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series.
