The Cowboys
The Cowboys was a tv set based on the 1972 film of the exact same name. It aired on the American Broadcasting Company television network from February 6 to May 8, 1974. The tv series starred Diana Douglas Jim Davis, Moses Gunn, A Martinez, Robert Carradine, and Clay O'Brien. The series was, produced by david Dortort known for Bonanza and the High Chaparral. The tv series, such as the picture, followed the exploits of seven boys that worked in 1870s New Mexico on a ranch. ABC decided to reduce running time to a half hour structure, although the Cowboys began being an hour long show.
The structure change didn't cause raised viewers, and the series was that the casualty of premature cancellation.
Guest stars contained Cal Bellini as Wa-Cha-Ka in"The Indian Givers", Kevin Hagen as Josh Redding in"Passing on a Fast Horse", also Lurene Tuttle as Grandma Jesse in"Manya Fantastic Horse Died".
