Once upon the 1970 s, Frank Savage, Dan Stark along with his partner, were bigshot Dallas detectives. So big, in reality, after saving the Governor's son, they were lauded as heroes. Thirty decades later, Dan Stark can be just actually really a washed up detective who spends all the time drunk his glory days or re-hashing. Jack Bailey, dan's new partner, can be a by-the-book ambitious and overall great detective, however, may also be a bit too snarky for his own good.
