The Hunger
The Hunger Can Be a British/Canadian television horror anthology series, co-produced from Telescene Film Group Productions, Scott Free Productions and the channel The Movie Network. Though it shares a name with all the feature film The Hunger the series does not have any direct storyline or character relation into the picture, also was created by Jeff Fazio.
Originally shown in the UK, The Movie Network in Canada and Showtime in the US, the series is organized into two seasons, also was broadcast from 1997 to 2000. Each incident was based around an independent narrative introduced by the host. David Bowie hosted each event and replaced in the next season terence Stamp. Stories tended to focus on themes of obsession and appetite, with a solid component of erotica. Tropes for its stories contained vampires, cannibalism, sex, and poison.
