The Joe Schmo Show
The Joe Schmo Show is a reality television hoax series created Rhett Reese and by Paul Wernick. The series will be broadcast in the U.S. in the cable network Spike. The premise of the show is a target person or persons are led to think they have been contestants on a reality television series. In reality, all the additional participants in the supposed series -- including the host -- are celebrities, and their actions and the upshot of the series that is supposed are all scripted in an attempt to evoke responses that are comedic from the goals. The series's first season, The Joe Schmo Show, headquartered in 2003, along with also its next season, Joe Schmo 2, headquartered in 2004. The hoax of the very first season was conducted as the next hoax was a Bachelor-like dating series as a typical reality contest series.
On December 10, 2012, Spike announced it was attracting The Joe Schmo Show straight back.
The only constant presence in all three Joe Schmo seasons has been voice actor Ralph Garman, who has served as the"emcee" for all three variants.
