The King's Avatar

"Glory" leads the esports scene in China, and Ye Xiu is a top player for an esports squad. When he's kicked off of his squad because they want to accept a lucrative sponsorship deal he's adamantly opposed to, his gaming days appear to be over. Ye Xiu starts a job at a late-night Internet cafe and develops a friendship with the business's owner, Chen Guo, who is also a depressed individual. She eventually exposes her plan: to form a new "Glory" team, commanded by Ye Xui, with Chen Guo as its manager. Whether or not Ye Xiu will return to his glory days remains to be seen. And can he find and train enough new members to get back to the top of the national rankings and get back at his former teammates who weren't loyal?
