Thomas & Friends

Friends & thomas is a children's television series, which had its first broadcast on the ITV network on 4 September 1984. It is based on books by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry along with his son, Christopher Awdry's Railway Collection. These novels deal with the experiences of a set of locomotives and road bikes who live on the fictional Island of Sodor. The novels were predicated on reports Wilbert told to amuse his son, Christopher during his comeback. From Series you to four, many of the stories are based on events out of Awdry experience.
