Twenty Twelve
John Morton wrote and directed the BBC comedy series Twenty Twelve. Hugh Bonneville, Jessica Hynes, and Amelia Bullmore star in this satirical on-location documentary that follows the 2012 Summer Olympics in London's organization. It initially aired in March 2011 on BBC Four in the United Kingdom, to coincide with the 500-day countdown to the opening ceremony. Twenty Twelve received mostly excellent reviews from critics, prompting the BBC to announce a four-part sequel on April15,2011, which premiered on BBC Two on March30, 2012. From July10,2012, three more episodes of Series 2 aired. The final episode of the series aired on July24,2012, just three days before the London Olympic Games' opening ceremony.
