Wild America
Wild America is a television series which is targeted on wild lands of North America and the wild animals. By the mid-1970s, full length documentaries had been assembled by Marty Stouffer. He approached the recruiting managers at Public Broadcasting Service about a half-hour-long wild life show ever to concentrate solely upon the flora and fauna of North America. PBS signed for its rights to broadcast Marty Stouffer's show Wild America at 1982. The show went on to become perhaps one of the most popular Directed by PBS, renowned for its unflinching portrayal of nature, in addition to its use of film techniques such as close-ups and slow motion. Stouffer earned $135,000 per show from PBS.
The production of the show ran from 1982 to 1994. The series is not any longer on PBS. Reruns still air in syndication on commercial television by much of the USA. Back in 1997, a full-length feature picture entitled Wild America, that was based on his brothers along with the biographical narrative of Marty Stouffer, Mark and Marshall was published by Warner Brothers.
