Wild City
Singapore is one of the world's most rapidly expanding cities. It used to be a lush jungle, but now it's 665 square kilometers of concrete, air conditioning, and hustle and bustle. However, there is a wild side nested among the urban sprawl: locations where pangolins, crocodiles, monkeys, otters, snakes, and hornbills live alongside skyscrapers and boardwalks. Sir David Attenborough narrates this series about how nature has adapted within this bustling metropolis. Wild City explores the variety of habitats found in and around the built-up urban sprawl before taking viewers on a tour of the island's hidden wildlife hotspots, from the overlooked interior to the inaccessible coastline and islands that have become unplanned sanctuaries for Singapore's natural heritage.
