Women's Murder Club
Women's Murder Club was an American legal drama that aired on ABC from October12,2007, to May13, 2008. The series is set in San Francisco, California, and is based on James Patterson's 'Women's Murder Club' series of novels. In addition to Patterson, Joe Simpson, Brett Ratner, and R. Scott Gemmill, series creators Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain acted as executive producers. Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts co-executive produced, with the latter also serving as showrunner. Scott Winant directed the pilot episode. The series, produced by 20th Century Fox Television, premiered on Friday nights at 9:00 p.m. Eastern/8:00 p.m. Central. ABC commissioned three more scripts on October31, 2007. The show was almost cancelled when it was revealed on February23,2008, that it would return in late April with three episodes. Women's Murder Club was announced on March31,2008, that it would return with three new episodes beginning Tuesday, April29,2008, at 10:00PM Eastern/9:00PM Central, replacing Boston Legal. ABC Television confirmed on May12,2008, that the sitcom would not return for a second season.
