Rebuilding

Three elderly men from the countryside named Chaoying, Shuhe, and Zhanyi get along well and enjoy drinking together. With renewed vigor, Chaoying just sold all of his livestock and began the renovation of his old house, which he had occupied for many years. However, a construction site accident occurred without warning. A automobile ran over Shuhe, who had come to Chaoying's aid in building the house, and fled the scene. The rules of the village say that if the killer can't be found, Chaoying will be responsible for the expensive medical bills. In this instance, he would be unable to afford to build a house of his own.
